Vocabulary

 

(the) Break: Free time when there is no school or work.

Example:

What did you do during the break?

I visited my sister over the break.

 

Neighborhood: An area in which many people live

Example:

What neighborhood do you live in?

I live in the Lake City neighborhood.

 

Apartment: A home in which many families live

 

House: A home in which one family lives

Household: A home and all the people who live there

Example:

How many people are in your household?

There are six people in my household.

Look forward to: To be excited about something that will happen in the future.

Example:

What are you looking forward to this month?
