Appearance is the way a person looks.
EXAMPLE: My sister’s appearance is neat and clean.
personality
Personality is a person’s qualities or characteristics
EXAMPLE: My son’s personality is kind and friendly.
American phrase - “to stay in touch”
“To stay in touch” means to talk with or communicate with someone.
EXAMPLE: “My son and daughter live in my home country. I stay in touch with
them by mobile phone every week."
