family / family member

A family member is a person in your family. For example, your father and mother are your family members. Your sister or brother is a family member.

sibling

A sibling is your brother or sister.

EXAMPLE: I have 3 siblings – 2 sisters and 1 brother.

appearance

Appearance is the way a person looks.

EXAMPLE: My sister’s appearance is neat and clean.

personality

Personality is a person’s qualities or characteristics

EXAMPLE: My son’s personality is kind and friendly.

 

American phrase - “to stay in touch”

“To stay in touch” means to talk with or communicate with someone.

EXAMPLE: “My son and daughter live in my home country. I stay in touch with them by mobile phone every week."

1.             How many people are in your family? Who are they?

3.            How do you stay in touch with your family members? For example, by phone, email, FaceTime?

9.            Do you have siblings or grandchildren? Where do they live?

10.         Do your siblings or grandchildren go to school, or have a job? Describe the school or job.
